Right now, Amazon.com is profiting from the donkey skin trade by selling a range of products containing ejiao, a gelatin found in donkey skin.
Brooke USA has asked Amazon to remove these products but they have refused. Amazon is contributing to the biggest crisis facing donkeys today.
It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of donkeys globally are being slaughtered for their skins every year to meet demand from consumers.
As one of the largest retailers of donkey skin products in the world, removal of these products from Amazon.com is a big step in the right direction for ending the trade in donkey skins.
We’re asking you to stand up for donkeys everywhere and sign our petition demanding Amazon.com takes action.
